YouTube bug pops videos out of full screen and cuts the sound
YouTube users on Android and iPhone report on Reddit that videos jump from full screen into the mini-player on their own, and the audio stops. Sammy Fans says reports go back to early October.
What it means for you
If your videos keep shrinking and going silent, it's likely a problem in YouTube itself, not your phone.
What to do
Close the video and play it again to get the sound back; if that doesn't work, close and reopen the YouTube app. Update the app when a new version comes out.
The details
Clearing the cache, reinstalling, restarting the phone and changing settings didn't help the users who tried. There's no confirmed fix, and Google hasn't commented yet.
