WhatsApp is working on a new settings look for Android
WhatsApp is building a new design for its Android settings, with items grouped into rounded sections, according to WABetaInfo, which follows the app's test versions. WhatsApp hasn't announced it.
Not confirmed. This comes from a report, a leak or a test version, not from the company itself, so details can still change.
What it means for you
Nothing changes for now: it's a design WhatsApp is working on for its Android app.
What to do
Nothing to do yet.
The details
The grouped style is meant for every settings page, including Account, Privacy and Notifications, and follows Google's Material Design 3 Expressive look. There's no date: WABetaInfo describes it as still in development for a future update.
