TikTok Shop gets its own app in four Asian countries
TikTok quietly launched a separate TikTok Shop app in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, on iPhone and Android, with shopping through live streams and short videos.
What it means for you
If you shop on TikTok in those countries, you can now do it without the video app.
What to do
Nothing to do elsewhere; TikTok hasn't said if it's coming to more countries.
The details
It offers personal product picks, app-only deals, in-app checkout, order tracking and customer support. It was first spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra.
