Amazon Prime adds Uber Eats: free delivery on food orders over $25
Amazon Prime members in the US can now order restaurant takeout from Uber Eats inside the Amazon app or website, with no delivery fee on orders of $25 or more. No Uber account is needed.
What it means for you
If you have Prime, you can order takeout without another app or account, and skip the delivery fee on bigger orders.
What to do
Look for restaurant delivery in the Amazon app. Check the total, since other fees and the menu prices still apply.
The details
You pay with your Amazon payment methods; Amazon handles the order and delivery alerts, and Uber Eats sends the receipt. Uber Eats becomes the official restaurant delivery partner for Prime in the US.
