Wi-Fi and mobile data not working after One UI 9 update on some Galaxy phones
Some Galaxy owners report Wi-Fi that keeps disconnecting, mobile data that won't connect, or a SIM card that isn't detected after the One UI 9 update. Samsung hasn't announced a fix.
What it means for you
If your Galaxy lost its connection after the update, you're not alone, and the update is the likely cause.
What to do
Restart the phone or toggle airplane mode to get back online; install Samsung's next update when it arrives.
The details
Restarting or switching airplane mode on and off helps for a while. Some phones can't join 5 GHz Wi-Fi or one specific network, and one Galaxy Z Fold 7 owner lost Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile. One user fixed it by turning off Wi-Fi 7 Mode under Developer options > Connectivity Labs, but others don't have that option.
