Google is working on a fix for Pixel Watch battery drain
Google said on Reddit that it has identified the problem behind sudden battery drain on some Pixel Watches and is working on a fix. It didn't give a date, only "as soon as possible".
What it means for you
If your Pixel Watch suddenly needs charging much more often, it's a known problem, and a reset won't fix it.
What to do
Install watch updates as they arrive; the fix will come as a software update.
The details
Owners of the Pixel Watch 2 and 3 first reported watches that went from about two days per charge to under 12 hours; Android Police lists the Pixel Watch 2, 3, 4 and 5 as affected. Factory resets didn't help. Google says only a small number of users are affected.
