Nothing is rolling out its Android 17-based Nothing OS 5.0 to the Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (4a), Phone (3a) Pro and Phone (3a), after the Phone (3) in October. The Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus are planned for mid-November.
What it means for you
If you have one of these Nothing phones, Android 17 and a new look are on the way or already waiting.
What to do
Go to Settings > System > System update and check for updates; if nothing shows, try again in a few days.
The details
It adds wallpaper-based colours, tinted icons, new lock screen clocks, a Glyph app with a timer, Collector for turning photos into stickers and Away Time, which tracks time away from the phone. Essential Apps Builder lets you describe an app and build it on the phone; access is rolling out step by step. The Phone (3a) Lite follows in late December, the Phone (4b) and CMF Phone 2 Pro in mid-January.
