Perplexity's Comet browser adds extensions on iPhone and iPad
Comet version 26.42.0 for iPhone and iPad has a built-in store where you can search, install and remove add-ons, taken from Firefox's add-ons catalog, such as Dark Reader and uBlock Origin Lite.
What it means for you
If you want browser add-ons like a dark mode or a content blocker on your iPhone, Comet now offers them.
What to do
Update Comet, then open Settings > Extensions to add one.
The details
You find it in Settings under a new Extensions tab, below Adblock and Privacy. PiunikaWeb found that older MV2 add-ons, like the full uBlock Origin, don't work. The update also brings faster launches, smoother video and a newer Chromium engine.
