Agoda's app adds an AI assistant that plans and books trips
Agoda's AI Assistant is now in its app in 21 markets, including the US, India, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the UAE, after a limited test that started in September. You can plan, compare and book in one chat.
What it means for you
If you book with Agoda, you can describe a trip in plain words and get options you can book right away, instead of searching hotels and flights one by one.
What to do
Update the Agoda app and tap the AI Assistant tab in the bar at the bottom. Check dates and prices before you pay.
The details
It checks live prices and availability across Agoda's more than 6 million places to stay, plus flights, tours and attractions. The chat runs on OpenAI models; restaurant and sight details come from Google Maps through Gemini. Bookings, saved ideas and unfinished plans collect on a trip planner page.
