Google Find Hub now warns you when you leave a tracker tag behind
Google's Find Hub on Android can now notify you when a tracker tag is separated from your phone. It's showing up for Chipolo trackers and the Moto Tag in version 3.1.787 for US and European users.
What it means for you
If you keep a tracker on your keys or bag, your phone can now tell you when you walk away without it.
What to do
Open Find Hub, pick a tag, tap the settings gear and turn on "Notify when left behind".
The details
Your home address saved in your Google Account is left out by default, so you won't get alerts there. It doesn't appear for other devices, like headphones.
